A showcase of Tsavo Agency projects

At Tsavo Agency we work with a wide variety of clients, from leading movie studios and colleges to community and niche sites. Along the way we've been able to design and implement many successful and cost-effective solutions for our clients - resulting in low-cost, high-quality traffic acquisition and premium content monetization.

Here are a few success stories we'd like to highlight.

Paramount Pictures' Bee Movie

Summary - As part of the promotional strategy for all of Paramount's movies, we ensure that the movie website ranks #1 for any searches on the movie's title as well as some related keyword searches. The main keyword for this campaign was bee.

Execution - The primary strategy of this project was an extremely aggressive linking campaign using the word bee as the anchor text of all inbound links. While most review sites and movie blogs that naturally link to the site with Bee Movie as the link, we had to put a strong emphasis on the word bee.

Results - To this day, BeeMovie.com is still #2 in Google for the word bee. This brings in thousands of visitors a day, a large portion of whom are younger people doing research for school papers, which is the target audience for this movie.

Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management

Summary - The goal of this project was to increase traffic to the Business School (bschool) sub-domain of Pepperdine.edu. The main keywords being targeted were business school, mba programs and executive mba programs.

Execution - In the beginning phase of this project, almost all page titles were duplicated across the entire sub-domain. The site also lacked any significant number of targeted inbound links. This campaign had two main parts: first identifying and optimizing the desired landing pages for each keyword, and then building a large number of targeted inbound links for each page.

Results - Pepperdine's targeted landing pages are ranking in the top 10 in Google for executive mba programs and the top 20 for mba, business school and mba programs, among many other secondary long-tail keywords. This increase in rankings has already brought a 150% increase in search engine traffic and a 75% increase in applications.

Check Into Cash

Summary - The goal of this project is to increase rankings and search engine traffic for keywords related to payday advance loans. The main keyword for this campaign is cash advance.

Execution - In the beginning of this campaign, we added a large resource and article directory to the website to target all long-tail keywords. The majority of this campaign's focus has been on link building. A strong focus on article syndication and sponsored blog postings has delivered a strong back-link structure and a large amount of direct traffic from sponsored posts.

Results - Through our link-building efforts we have been able to position this website at #4 for cash advance and we are also seeing progress on many other keywords.
