Account Administrator - Business Systems

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of Business Systems, the Account Administrator will perform all technical aspects of creating, maintaining, troubleshooting and administering the Company's revenue and cost accounts. The purpose of this role is to ensure the large number of accounts, which are required by the rest of the business, are created and configured in a consistent manner. This individual will help ensure that all accounts are known to the Business Systems team and tracked properly in our financial and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Report daily on spend and revenue statuses
Troubleshoot spend and revenue related issues
Create new accounts, ensuring accounts are recorded in the Business Systems databases
Configure appropriate reporting within accounts to ensure data can be pulled into the Company's systems or data is pushed to the systems automatically
Follow appropriate access methods to manage accounts
Act as point of contact when account/data issues arise (diagnosing where the root cause may be, etc.)
Proactively review the status of data downloads daily
Follow up with stakeholders on missing account data, as required
Organize/oversee processes of bringing on new business initiatives/customers (internal and external, including identifying gaps and tools that could be built, etc.), including testing and initial verifying accounts/permissions
Provide daily and weekly feedback on current progress and possible obstacles to Direct Manager
Follow guidance of Team Lead/Manager/Director in aspects of work and communication
Periodically suggest improvements to in-house software systems, identifying weaknesses, and propose changes for improvement (examples could be automation/data integrity/visibility)
Periodically share tips/technologies, techniques and experiences with fellow team members
Stays current with technology and solutions which may benefit the Company

Required Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail
Strong mathematical skills
Excellent written/oral/listening communication skills
Proficient in use of email and internet
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Desired: Ability to create and run tsql queries involving joins between 3 or 4 tables, including outer joins, and subqueries
Experience with SQL Server, TSQL, and relational databases an asset
